Planned Giving and Gift Aid

The running of the Parish is financed by donations of parishioners. Using a standing order payment or the Planned Giving envelope scheme is an excellent way to make a weekly financial contribution to the parish. Both of these methods enable you to plan your contribution in advance and allows the parish to plan income and expenditure more effectively.

The parish also operates a Gift Aid scheme, which means we can claim back from the Inland Revenue 25p for every £1 donated by an eligible payer of income tax. In order to make the claim, the donor is required to submit a signed declaration to the parish stating that he or she is a taxpayer. We encourage all parishioners who are taxpayers to do this. If you would like to organise a standing order, would like a box of Planned Giving envelopes, or to set up Gift Aid, please contact the Parish Priest.
